Purchase Records Destruction is a locally owned and operated business since 2003 specializing in destroying critical information for your business in a professional and economical manner.
We destroy all paper records, including customer information, personnel records, financial records, and inter-office communications. We also destroy audio and video tapes, microfiche, disks, cd's or DVD's, and computer hard drives.
Purchase Records Destruction is also a proud member of the Better Business Bureau. In March 2007, we were accredited with this honor and are an active member in good standing (we have a link to our accreditation on our links page).
THE PRD SHRED TEAM
Brandon Collins-Vice President
He's the one who started it all.
The shredder man was born at Camp Lejeune Hospital located in Jacksonville, North Carolina in 1970. After his birth, he returned with his family back to their home in Indiana. He was a graduate of Merrillville High School in Merrillville, Indiana. During his early work career, he worked for his family business doing industrial painting and sandblasting for 9 years. After taking a few classes at Purdue University, he went to work for his first trucking company, North American Van Lines. Brandon continued in his chosen trade, staying in the business for more than 4 years. Taking time off the road, he entered the material transportation industry.
In September 2002, Brandon read an article on the shredding profession and the wheels starting turning about owning his own shredding company. One year later, he recognized the need for proper information disposal when he started this business in his garage.
In May of 2006, Brandon moved PRD to its current location in Possum Trot, Kentucky, which occupies a 5000 square foot building, office and shredding plant.
Brandon and his wife, Robin, have one son, Levi and the family dog Misfit. Brandon loves to hunt, play golf and mess around the house.

Patrick Stone-Information Security Specialist
There are a lot of things to describe Patrick. But normal is not one of them (see above picture).
Patrick was born in Eldorado, IL in 1979 and raised in Hardin County, Illinois. It was a pretty usual upbringing . . . Dad worked, Mom was the housewife, his sister, Dana, was . . . well the big sister and of course Patrick.
Patrick graduated from Hardin County High School in 1997. He then proceeded to graduate from Southeastern Illinois College in Harrisburg, IL in 1999 with honors. Two years later, he had made his goal of being a college grad, earning his diploma with a Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Journalism and minoring in Political Science from Murray State University in 2001. One year later, he married Angela Winters at their home church in 2002. He says she is the love of his life and is the sexiest woman alive!
Patrick has worked for several companies in and near Paducah, KY when he stumbled upon an ad from PRD asking for a helper. Two years later, he is still here, basically entertaining us at all times. "This place is home for me. I have been extremely blessed that I found PRD. I just hope that I do everything I can to help this industry grow beyond our dreams", he says.
Patrick lives in Ledbetter, KY with his bride, Angela and their dog, Sassy. They hope to start a family soon.
